Our Accessibility Goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard. We recognise that as a mental health platform serving potentially vulnerable users, accessibility is not merely a legal obligation but a core part of our commitment to inclusive care.

How Accessible Is the Platform?

We know some parts of the Platform are not fully accessible. We are actively working to improve accessibility. Currently known limitations include:

Some older page sections may not have full keyboard navigation support
Some video content may not have captions or transcripts available
Some interactive elements may not have fully descriptive ARIA labels
PDF documents available on the Platform may not be fully accessible to screen readers

Technical Specification

The Platform is built using React (a JavaScript framework) and relies on the following technologies for accessibility:

HTML5 semantic markup
CSS for layout and styling
JavaScript for interactive components
WAI-ARIA attributes where applicable for screen reader support

The Platform has been tested with modern web browsers including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge on desktop and mobile devices.
